A social media built from disadvantage
After graduating from college in the US, I faced a reality that so many international students know too well: I couldn't find a visa that would allow me to stay. At the same time, going back to Argentina didn't feel right anymore. I had spent four years building a life abroad, surrounded by friends from all over the world. Latin America, the US, Europe, Asia. My sense of home was no longer tied to one place.
So I started looking for something that would give me freedom. That's when I discovered remote work.
I landed a role at a social media company. I didn't love the job itself, but I loved what it gave me: the ability to move. To reconnect with my friends across the world. I visited them multiple times, working while exploring new cities, and for the first time, I felt like my life made sense again.

Where do opportunities actually happen?
Many of my friends didn't have that same flexibility. They had traditional jobs, limited vacation days, and geographic constraints. But whenever they had time off, they wanted to travel, and I could meet them anywhere. I realized I had unlocked something they were all looking for.
At the same time, I started growing on social media. People began reaching out. Friends, family, even strangers, all asking the same question: "How are you doing this?"
When I told them I worked remotely, the response was always the same: "Can you help me do that too?"
That's when I saw the real problem. There are so many talented people out there, engineers, marketers, creatives, athletes, business graduates, who could work remotely but don't know where to start. Everyone has a different background, a different path, and there's no clear, human way to navigate it.
The Missing Piece
Existing platforms weren't solving this.
They help you find jobs, but they don't help you build a lifestyle. They connect professionals, but not people actually living this reality. They don't guide, support, or create a sense of belonging.
And remote work can feel lonely.
I experienced this myself. I would spend months abroad, constantly moving, sometimes missing simple things from home, or wishing I knew more people living the same lifestyle.
What I Decided to Build
So I built what I wish existed.
A social platform for remote workers. Not just to find opportunities, but to:

- ✓Share knowledge across industries and backgrounds
- ✓Discover opportunities beyond traditional hiring systems
- ✓Offer and find freelance or contract work
- ✓Build a sense of community anywhere in the world
And beyond that, a marketplace where remote workers can:

- +Support each other economically
The Real Reason
At its core, this isn't just about work.
It's about freedom. It's about belonging anywhere. It's about not having to choose between your career and your life.
My heart ended up spread across the world. And I know I'm not the only one.
